We partner with KAIRI Chocolate Company, founded by Deosaran Jagroo and Cherie-Anne Ramlakhan, who craft chocolate exclusively from their family-owned La Carlota Estate in Trinidad - home to century-old Trinitario cocoa trees.

Their process is blossom to bar - meaning every stage, from harvesting to fermentation to final chocolate, happens on the same land. This ensures full transparency, fair compensation, and unmatched quality.

Unlike commercial chocolate:

  • It is never Dutch-processed, preserving nutrients like magnesium and antioxidants
  • Cocoa butter is never replaced with palm oil
  • Beans are grown using agroforestry, not monocropping
  • No heavy processing that strips away what makes cocoa powerful

The entire process takes weeks, not days — guided by tradition, care, and deep respect for the land.
