What’s sexier than strawberries hugged in raw chocolate? Not much, if you ask me. This isn’t just a smoothie — it’s a moment. A ritual. A gentle act of love for your body, especially your heart.

Blending the juicy sweetness of berries with the circulation-boosting magic of raw cacao, this vibrant, velvety drink is full of flavour and function. Berries offer a powerful dose of anthocyanins — those deep, vibrant pigments that do more than just look pretty. They help protect your blood vessels, calm inflammation, and deliver an antioxidant punch your heart will thank you for.

I love the grounding natural sweetness of banana here and apples bring that familiar brightness.

And then, there’s the not-so-secret ingredient: raw cocoa nibs. Unlike processed cocoa, raw cacao is rich in theobromine — a fat-soluble, gentle stimulant that supports circulation and mood without the crash of caffeine. When steeped in hot water, the flavour deepens and theobromine becomes more bioavailable. It’s subtle, earthy, and grounding — like sipping on something sacred.

What You’ll Need:

1 ripe banana

1 apple (cored)

1 cup fresh or frozen berries

1–2 tsp raw cocoa nibs

¼ cup hot water (for cocoa infusion)

1 tsp coconut oil (or any healthy fat you love)

10g collagen (optional)

2 tbsp chia seeds

How to Make It:

In a small cup, steep your cocoa nibs in hot water to release their flavour and activate the theobromine.

Add everything except the chia seeds to your blender, including the warm cacao infusion. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Add chia seeds and a splash of water if needed. Pulse for a bit of texture, or blend fully for a smooth finish.

Coconut Oil: Helps the body absorb fat-soluble compounds like theobromine and slows down sugar absorption for balanced energy.
